Observational study to investigate the clinical outcomes associated with the ECHELON™ 3000 45mm and 60mm Stapler (and reloads) when used in colorectal, urologic or solid organ surgeries including liver parenchyma (hepatic vasculature and biliary structures), pancreas, kidney, and spleen in adult and pediatric populations.
The ECHELON™ stapling devices can facilitate open or laparoscopic surgery for many medical conditions requiring tissue / organ transection, resection and/or creation of anastomoses. ETHICON, Inc. is interested in receiving proposals from Clinical Investigators experienced with general abdominal surgeries using ECHELON™ endoscopic staplers specifically in colorectal, solid organ, and/or urological procedures. The execution of this study will be funded through Ethicon, Inc. Investigator Initiated Study (IIS) program for prospective research on this topic.

The IIS committee serves to assure the IIS program meets all applicable ethical, scientific and strategic criteria, including conformance with applicable Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies and regulatory agency requirements.
